  1. If you have not already ordered a cap and gown, the deadline to do so is April 25th. Cap and gown orders are made through Miners Graduate Services at 541-689-4588.

  2. Caps and gowns will be distributed on May 26th at 11:30 am in the Main Gym.  A senior class picture will be taken at this time. Lifetouch will also take a group photo of all seniors who have been in Bethel since kindergarten. Details to purchase a class photo will be provided by Lifetouch.

  3. Each gown will be individually packed and marked.  Check to see that you have a gown, cap, stole and tassel.

  4. If you cannot report on your own to pick up your cap and gown, you need to send written instructions with the person who is to secure it for you.  After May 26th, caps and gowns will be available for pick up in the front office.

  5. The gown will need pressing.  Please hang up the gown when you get it home.

  6. Students are invited to personalize graduation caps. All caps will be vetted prior to the procession of graduates to ensure that decorated caps align with the WHS dress code policy. We will have a senior class cap decorating party after the Bethel Grad Walk on June 4th.

  7. Caps and gowns are yours to keep after the ceremony. However, if you do not want to keep it, you may donate it to the school for future use by students unable to purchase one.

FAQ's

Q: I see some students have additional cords or medallions, how do you earn those?

A: Students earn honors cords or medallions by completing various criteria toward a pathway. Please review the Honor Cord Descriptions to learn more. There is no additional charge for honor cords or medallions; they will be included with cap and gown distribution in May.

Q: How many tickets do we get? What if we need more?

A: Students will receive 18 tickets to be picked up from the bookkeeping office starting May 26th. There is no cost associated with graduation tickets. Students will receive 12 white outside-only tickets and 6 priority gold tickets.  All tickets may be used for an outside ceremony, but if the ceremony is held in the Main Gym due to extreme weather conditions, each graduate is only allowed to use the 6 gold tickets.  No additional tickets will be available. Tickets will not be issued to seniors who have not met all graduation requirements and have not paid all fines and fees owed.  Be sure to alert family members of the chance of an indoor ceremony that would limit the number of guests who can attend. Please rest assured that we will make every effort to have the ceremony outside, but in the event of extreme weather, we will need to be flexible as a community to ensure the ceremony is unspoiled by the elements, including moving the ceremony inside, if necessary. The ceremony will be streamed live for friends and family to enjoy (link TBD).

Q: Do infants or children require a ticket?

A: The general rule is that if the child can sit comfortably on your lap throughout the ceremony, a ticket is not required. Please refrain from bringing infant carseats or strollers as space does not allow for these items. We appreciate your understanding to allow as many people as we can to celebrate the class of 2026!

Q: Can we bring balloons, signs, noise-makers, etc.?

A: While we love the addition of things that elevate the celebration, please be mindful of other attendees.

Q: One of my guests uses a wheelchair, are their special tickets or seating for guests who have mobility limitations with stairs?

A: Yes! Special seating arrangements for graduation should be made in advance. Please call the front office at 541-689-0731 or email Jenni Corona to request accommodations. Requests should be received no later than 4pm on June 4th.

Q: Are graduates allowed to decorate their caps?

A: Yes! School-approriate decoration is fine. Please note: any cap with decor deemed inappropriate will be removed, and a plain, loaner cap will be provided for the ceremony. Bonus: we will host a cap decorating party after each grad walk on June 4th
