The 2026-27 school year is just around the corner! Here's what you need to know:

Enrollment for New and Returning Students

All Bethel families can complete their student(s) enrollment paperwork by visiting this link:
www.bethel.k12.or.us/register. Note: All Bethel families must complete enrollment paperwork each year.

In-district and Interdistrict Transfers

Bethel students who want to attend a school other than their neighborhood school, as well as out-of-district students who want to attend a Bethel school this fall (2026-2027 school year) can now apply for in-district or interdistrict transfers. Follow this link to submit a transfer request. bethel.k12.or.us/transfers

Round 1 – Feb. 10 – March 15 –  Families who apply during the 1st round will be notified before spring break (March 20).
Round 2 – March 16 through May 17 – Those who apply during the 2nd round will be notified by June 1.
Round 3 – May 18 through August 19 – Those who apply during the 3rd round will be informed by mid-August.

Kindergarten Smart Start, Paperwork & More

We are so excited to welcome your child to kindergarten this fall!
To help us prepare for a successful start to the school year, please complete the following steps as soon as possible:
  1. Register your child for kindergarten (if you haven't already).
  2. Complete the Smart Start Family Questionnaire. This brief questionnaire helps us get to know your child, thoughtfully create balanced classrooms, plan staffing, and prepare for August phone calls with families. 
  3. Complete the Transportation Registration Form if your child will ride the bus. This form is separate from kindergarten enrollment. Transportation Registration Form
